on saturday kyle and i hit up the twin falls state park area. it was about a 4 mile roundtrip hike, which i would say only about 3 miles which were real enjoyable. the other part was kind of annoying cause it brought you close to 90, close enough that you could see the cars driving by which really isn't my style. but the rest was cool. lot of old growth and an sick waterfall section. at one point we went off trail down to one of the waterfall pools. after talking for awhile about how awesome it would be to come here in the summer. it came up that well i should probably jump in now since it was february 28th and of course must be really warm right now? so yea long story short i jumped in, actually not so much jumped in but went towards the edge, slipped and fell in. it was f@#$(*% freezing. then, as one of the pictures will show, it was really hard to get out as i just kept slipping back in. kyle seemed to think this was funny. i did not. but yea. overall. decent day hike for something quick.
